Robert Zamora

Filmmaker | Cameraman | Photographer | Storyteller

Hey, I’m Bobby.

I’ve always believed that great stories don’t need explosions or special effects — just truth, emotion, and a camera in the right hands.

I’m a filmmaker and freelance cameraman based in Arizona, and I love finding meaning in the small, everyday things that most people might miss. Whether it’s laughter between friends, an unexpected moment of kindness, or a story that just makes you stop and think — that’s what I aim to capture.

Film and photography are more than what I do — they’re how I see the world. My goal is simple: make something real, something that connects, and something that makes people feel.

My Work

Over the past few years, I’ve been lucky enough to create, direct, and film a range of projects — from short films and school productions to independent comedies and documentaries. Every project teaches me something new about storytelling and people.

Something’s Afoot (2024)

Two detectives, one mystery, and a little chaos.

Winner — Southern Arizona Independent Film Festival (2025)
Official Selection — Purple Sky International Film Festival (2025)

Camp Swift (2025)

A film highlighting the incredible Swift Youth Foundation and the impact they have on young lives.

Official Selection — Prescott Film Festival (2025)
Official Selection — Los Angeles One-Reeler Short Film Competition (2025)

Cop-Bot (2025)

A sci-fi short about technology, control, and humanity.

Official Selection — New York Lift-Off Film Festival (2025)

No Cents (2024)

A lighthearted short film about two students who plan a heist to retrieve a forgotten wallet — reminding us that small stories can be the most entertaining.

Guerilla Delivery (2025)

A comedy about a down-on-his-luck pizza delivery guy racing to complete one last order — and maybe make it to the biggest costume party of the year.

About Me

About Me

About Me I’m drawn to stories that feel honest * the kind that blend humor…

Behind the Lens

I’m currently a student at Chaparral High School (Class of 2026), but filmmaking has already taken me far beyond the classroom. I serve as President of the Film Club, Resident Videographer for Chaparral Improv, and a Board Member and Videographer for the Swift Youth Foundation.

I’ve also trained at the School of Creative and Performing Arts (SOCAPA) in Los Angeles and New York — where I had the chance to direct, act, and collaborate with other passionate filmmakers. Those experiences shaped my craft and confirmed that storytelling is what I’m meant to do.

Awards & Recognition

I’m honored to have had my work recognized across film festivals and creative communities:

Southern Arizona Independent Film Festival Winner (2025)

Multiple Official Selections — LA, Prescott, and NY Film Festivals

Gold Presidential Service Award (2024)

Chaparral Student of the Month (3x)

Keepin’ It Reel — The Podcast

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m behind the mic.

Keepin’ It Reel is a podcast I co-host with creatives from all over the country — where we talk about film, storytelling, and the real-life experiences that shape our work. From filmmakers and writers to musicians and entrepreneurs, every episode dives into the creative process, the challenges, and the passion that keeps us all “reel.”

My Story in Motion

This portfolio is a collection of the projects, collaborations, and stories that have shaped who I am — as a filmmaker, a student, and a storyteller. I’m excited to keep learning, growing, and discovering new ways to see the world through a lens.

Thank you for taking the time to explore my work.
